The modes your TP2 camera comes in are alright, but HTC has been holding out on its customers. There are some hidden camera modes that you can activate through a couple of simple registry edits. They work just fine and are really cool.

HTC is not at fualt here...it's the Carriers.  All carriers get ahold of these phones and changing things to there liking...then sell them to us..unfortunatly I can't stand that they do this.  Leave the phone the way it came so we can have full rain of the features...damn we pay enough for them as it is.  But yeah thats what happens...your Carrier is the one who changes most of that.

Thanks for letting me know. Here is how you do it:

Now..  those settings P1 - P10 are camera modes.  I activate them ALL, by going in to each one and making sure that the key "Enable" is set to "1"

Sports
Mobile Device\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Camera\P8
Video Share
Mobile Device\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Camera\P9
GPS Photo
Mobile Device\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Camera\P10

These do require registry edits. Remember to always backup your registry first.

what program do i need to download in order to change all these things and would i be able to do so using my macbook pro? thats the only computer i have

If you cannot connect to your computer for whatever reason (being too old, a mac, or some other odd fluke), you always have the option of downloading a registry editor you can use right on your phone. I use PHM Registry Editor. It's great and effective and runs on your TP2. It takes a while because it's on your phone and it can be a little more difficult to navigate than a registry editor on a computer, but it works just fine. Just remember to always back up.
